The First eLAC 2007 Software Workgroup Workshop, Latin America and the Caribbean on Information Society will be at Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in days 13 and 14 of February of 2007. This event will be organized by the Brazilian State Department and the Workgroup which is responsible for discussing questions relative to Software in the Action Plan of eLAC 2007 coordinated by SERPRO - Serviço Federal de Processamento de Dados.

This Forum will allow debates in subjects such as:

  • Technological access and Free Software.
  • Identify new Oportunities in Sharing Softwares and exchange experiences.
